Charnwood MP named Backbencher of the Year

CHARNWOOD MP Stephen Dorrell has been named Backbencher of the Year at an annual awards ceremony.
Mr Dorrell, who has been the Conservative representative for Charnwood since 1997 and is chair of the Health Select Committee, collected the honour at this year’s Political Studies Association’s Annual Awards ceremony, which was held in Westminster and hosted by Channel 4 News presented Jon Snow.
