Last April Ryan Smith a local taxi driver met with Tracy Critchlow about the problems he has faced in getting a hybrid vehicle licenced by Mansfield District Council.
The Mansfield Conservatives have been supporting Ryan’s case as a greener alternative to either diesel or petrol vehicles. Despite this the Council still has not updated its current licencing laws and is putting other drivers off purchasing greener vehicles.
We call again for a review of the legislation in Mansfield to bring it upto date with Nottingham who have allowed hybrid vehicles for over 10 years.
