Nicky Morgan MP opens Loughborough railway station's revamp

Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan joined bosses from East Midlands Trains, Network Rail and Charnwood Borough Council for the re-launch. Mrs Morgan said: "We have been waiting for this for a long time and these improvements are a massive vote of confidence in Loughborough, one which will have real long-term advantages. "Just being able to get out of a train using any door is a major improvement." Other work include a new footbridge and lifts to all the platforms, a refurbished forecourt and car park, new cycle parking and better toilets and waiting rooms.
